The Archives tour skips the entry line and allows smooth access to this stunning, once in a lifetime display. During your one hour tour, your guide will provide interesting stories about the founding documents and the men who made them while expertly guiding you to the highlights of the museum.

America Unscripted begins with a skip the line tour of the National Archives and adds a stroll to the Smithsonian Museum of American History to build on the story of American Democracy. Over 2 hours, you will enjoy the larger view of the founding documents and how the American experiment has played out over time.

The Founders Tour combines the skip the line tour of the National Archives with the portraits of our founding fathers housed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. Inside the historic old patent office your guide will provide more depth about the men who wrote the founding documents and preview the other exhibits that you can enjoy in the museum.
