We have a 24 hour cancelation policy, meaning you can cancel any reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of your experience for a full refund unless otherwise specified.

No shows and cancelations less than 24 hours before start time will not be eligible for refund.

All tours begin promptly at the start time listed on your booking. The tour guide will meet guests at prescribed meeting location 15 minutes before tour for check-in and introductions. Guests should plan to arrive 20 minutes before start time to allow time for unexpected delays. We also recommend taking into consideration Washington, DC’s notorious traffic and possible Metro delays when planning your arrival.

It is the guest’s responsibility to arrive on time for tours and we are unable to delay our tour departures for late arrivals as various elements of the tours are on a hard-set time. If you will be arriving late, prior to the departure time contact us at (202) 681-5870 and we will do our best to guide you to catch up to your tour along the way. Due to the nature of the walking tours and the size of Arlington National Cemetery, we cannot guarantee meet up for late arrivals. Please note that our phone forwards to the guide, whom will be engaging with tour guests after departure time and therefore may not be able to answer calls after departure. Missed tours due to late arrival will not be issued a refund.

To receive a full refund, guests may cancel up to 24 hours before the experience start date in the local time zone. No refunds will be given after that time period.

Much live a theater, our tours all have a very limited capacity and frequently book out completely. Each reservation held potentially prevents another guest from being able to join. Therefore we are unable to offer refunds for any last minute cancelations or no shows, no matter the reason for cancelation.

We do not offer transportation services.

Our tours operate rain or shine and will only be canceled if there is a safety concern. We recommend to dress prepared for the weather.

There are also escalators and elevators in the museums. Each museum has wheelchair rentals. We recommend bringing your own if possible. Also note that we are a walking tour company so keep that in mind when you are booking your experience.

We have a permanent office at 400 7th St. NW. It’s closest to the Archives and Chinatown metro station.

We are open from 8:30am-4:30pm daily. (except for Christmas, New Years Day, and The 4th of July)

We recommend using public transportation like metro or bus. There are also several parking garages around the block.

Our restrooms are designated for employers only. However, the Museums all offer multiple public restrooms.

We focus on small group tours. Our largest tours are Capitol Hill with a maximum of 15 people and Arlington Cemetery (maximum 20). Our other tours are capped at a 10 person max.

All of our tours run 7 days a week except for the Capitol Hill tour which is closed Sundays and Mondays.

Our tours run from 1-3 hours depending on which one you choose.

If you are 5-10 minutes late, we will do our best to connect you with the guide. If you are later than that, we cannot guarantee that you will make it for the tour that day. However, we are happy to reschedule your tour for a later date.

We will put your name on the waiting list and notify you if there are any changes to our schedule. You are also welcome to book for another available day and time.

The most important thing is comfortable walking shoes. Also be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing as most of our tours spend a decent amount of time outside.
