Introducing the Library of Congress Mini-Group Tour

The Library of Congress is a staple of Unscripted's Capitol Hill tour offerings. For the first time, we will be showcasing just the Library in a two hour semi-private tour, with 8 people or less in your group. The Library's collection holds more than 178 million items which are themselves a treasure trove of interesting stories. The original building, circa 1897, now known as the Jefferson Building, is one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, DC.

Join us for this intimate walk through the Gilded Age splendor of the classically decorated building which remains virtually unchanged from 1897. Your guide will explain the history of the Library's collection, the design and execution of its most spectacular building and bring your mini-group of guests through the exhibitions which highlight its amazing collections. Finally, if you wish to use this amazing resource, your guide can help you with the process of getting your own reader's card!
