Announcing DC Civil War Mini-group walking tour

Discover the DC's Civil War past with an expert guide who will show the hidden stories of a city caught between North and South and the life and death of the President who fought to preserve the Union.



Hidden among the modern buildings and bustle of a city are the few remaining historic sites from the Washington DC that Lincoln would recognize. Your guide will show your mini-group, 8 guests or less, these sites that are hidden in plain site right in downtown DC. You'll stroll along Pennsylvania Ave and learn what it looked like before it was "America's Main St." With stops at memorials to the Union army, a look at the portraits of the central players in the military conflict and entry into the Petersen House where Lincoln died you will have a full picture of Washington DC from 1860 until 1865.
